Recovering from Surgery?

Recovering from orthopedic surgery takes time, but creating the right environment for healing may help your body recover more efficiently.

Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) supports your body's natural healing process by increasing oxygen delivery to recovering tissues, helping reduce inflammation and supporting tissue repair. Many clients choose mHBOT as part of their post-surgical recovery plan to complement their physician's recommendations and rehabilitation program.

How mHBOT May Support Recovery
Following orthopedic surgery, your body needs oxygen to repair damaged tissue and support the healing process. mHBOT may help promote recovery by:

  • Reduced post-operative swelling
  • Healthy circulation
  • Tissue repair
  • Bone and soft tissue healing
  • Collagen production
  • Recovery following ligament, tendon, or muscle repair

Recommended Wellness Program
Every recovery is unique. Your provider may recommend a program based on your procedure and overall health. Typical programs may include:

  • Soft tissue healing: 5–10 sessions
  • Ligament, tendon, or muscle repair: 10–20 sessions
  • Bone healing: 20–40 sessions

Sessions are typically scheduled daily during the initial recovery period. Your personalized plan will depend on your physician's recommendations and your individual goals.
