About
A Life Built on Movement—and the Pursuit of Lasting Recovery
Movement has always been a defining part of my life—from sports and martial arts to my service in the United States Marine Corps. Staying active wasn’t just something I did, it was part of who I was. But like many people who push their bodies, I eventually felt the cumulative effects of strain and overuse. I went through the traditional path of treatment, and while it offered temporary relief, it never truly solved the problem or gave me a lasting way forward.
That experience changed my perspective. I realized recovery shouldn’t just be about managing pain, it should be about restoring how the body moves, functions, and performs over time. In 2012, I founded Parris Island Therapy, which later evolved into Island DMS in Newport, Rhode Island. Each step in that journey brought a deeper understanding of what actually works and what people truly need to feel better and stay active.
Recovery Method Studio is the next evolution of that work. It brings together advanced recovery techniques and a more integrated approach designed to support long-term mobility, healing, and performance—so you can get back to what you love, and keep doing it.

Expanding Beyond Traditional Therapy
After my military service, I had the opportunity to work alongside a Naturopath and Holistic Chiropractor—an experience that shifted my understanding of what true recovery could look like. For the first time, I was exposed to a more comprehensive approach to healing, one that treated the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms.
That perspective sparked a deeper pursuit of learning. I trained extensively in kinesiology, athletic taping, and holistic recovery techniques, completing over 1,000 hours of hands-on training as a licensed massage therapist. With each modality, I gained a clearer understanding of how the body moves, compensates, and ultimately heals.
It was during this time that I discovered the Deep Muscle Stimulator (DMS)—a modality that fundamentally changed my approach to recovery and opened the door to a more effective, results-driven way of helping people feel and move better.

Experience Across All Levels of Performance
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes at every level—from high school competitors to Division I athletes, Olympians, and professionals. Each experience reinforced the same truth: no matter the level, everyone is looking for a better way to recover, perform, and stay in motion.
At the same time, I refined my approach in a five-star resort setting, where the focus was not just on recovery, but on delivering a higher level of care and attention to the overall experience. That environment shaped how I think about both results and the way people feel throughout the process.
My commitment to service ultimately led me to join the United States Air Force as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where I was able to combine clinical expertise with a mission-driven approach to care—continuing to deepen my understanding of what it takes to help people move, heal, and perform at their best.
Recovery Method Studio combines traditional physical therapy principles with advanced recovery techniques to address the root causes of pain, limitation, and dysfunction. Our goal is simply to help you recover faster, move better, and stay active longer.
